The Standard
Each IGU is manufactured to the very high standards by BS EN 1279, and when installed and correctly maintained, should last 15-20 years or more; well in excess of any guarantee.
The harmonised standard, BS EN 1279 has been recently introduced, and all manufacturers of IGU's in Europe must either comply with its requirements or demonstrate that their standard of manufacture and test is comparable or better than the BS EN 1279 standard. Easiglas are audited yearly, and product testing is carried out at regular intervals to ensure that these high standards are met continually throughout production.
